As part of the 1st grade curriculum, instruction will continue build upon a foundation of music learning. Key learning objectives include development of rhythmic concepts (quarter note/rest), healthy singing using Sol-Mi-La, as well as responding to music through purposeful movement (expression/coordination), and developing an understanding of basic musical form in a variety of styles.
