As part of the Kindergarten curriculum, students will begin a foundation of music learning through participation in activities involving singing, movement, listening, and playing classroom instruments. Basic musical concepts will be introduced that will provide a foundation for musical learning that will be built upon in subsequent grade levels. Learning objectives include development of pulse & rhythm, healthy singing, and melodic analysis. (high/low, upward/downward, sol-mi)
