As part of the 2nd grade curriculum, instruction will continue build upon a foundation of music learning. Key learning objectives include development of rhythmic concepts (tied notes, half notes/rests), healthy singing using La-Sol-Mi-Do, playing/creating ostinato accompaniments, and identifying phrase length in a variety of music.
