Varsity Lacrosse Pre Season Jamboree Overveiw

On February 17, boys varsity lacrosse hosted a pre season jamboree against Seminole High School and Flagler Palm Coast High School (FPC).

The jamboree gave the participating schools the opportunity to get out on the field and demonstrate their skills without the pressure of the score counting on the record.

“I feel the jamboree last weekend went well,” said midfielder Emanuel Mcclain. “We were great in the face-offs.”

The team was unable to best Seminole High ending with a score 7-4. Collectively the team agreed they need to work harder on possessing the ball and getting ground balls.

Despite the rocky start the Eagles managed to pull a 6-4 win off of FPC. The team put up a strong defense and it’s cohesive offense lead to its victory.

The next game is February 21 at Olympia.
