Edgewater’s Got Talent: Students and faculty show off their talents at the annual talent show

On Thursday, March 15 Edgewater’s Student Government Association (SGA) presented the annual talent show.

Students and faculty were encouraged to come out and show off their unique talents and skills.

Bands, pianists, vocalists and more took the stage hoping to win the first place Visa gift card.

The show was hosted by SGA members Kendall Merrill and Emma Boles. Throughout the night Boles made many costume changes and performed brief songs and dance routines between acts. The comedic banter between the hosts made the audience laugh.

Mrs. Regina Hightower surprised everyone when she took the stage to sing Whitney Houston’s ‘Greatest Love of All’.  Hightower said that the message of the song was very fitting with all the chaos going on in the world as a reminder to love everyone.

Then after all of the acts had performed SGA and guests gave a performance of Cotton Eye Joe that included Edgewater’s own Elena and Edgar Eagle.
