Fall has started and as expected, new trends have been appearing to welcome the new season. In this article I’ll be showing you how to stay on trend with fall fashion.
Modern makeup has been around for about 6,000 years. This means that it has changed in many different ways– from formulas, to names, and especially trends. The fall makeup trends for 2017 focus on enhancing and portraying a natural look. For trendy lip colors, be on the lookout for nude and berry lipsticks this season. Nude lipstick is used to to imitate one’s skin color while berry lipstick is used to make your mouth pop.
As for brows, people are leaning more towards messy and natural. To achieve this look just fill in your brows and brush them upwards.
Fall 2017 eyeshadow looks are glossy and metallic to give the eye a subtle but strong look. Nail colors that are in, are warm colors, like reddish orange and rose gold as well as a few cold tones such as olive green.
Hairstyles that are being used this season are mini buns and braids, bonus points if you incorporate a scrunchie into your fall look. Finally, gold jewelry has become popular in recent years to brighten up one’s outfit, while, silver items have slowly been declining.
As for fashion, retailers seem to be hopping on specific trends for fall. Examples of fashion forward styles are “blasts from the past,” like retro. Retro style incorporates the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘90s by using eye popping colors, like mustard yellow.
Another style seems to be the “Gingham” trend, which is clothing items with a square pattern design. What is selling in stores right now, is clothing that has fur, crushed velvet material or a checkered black and white design.
Fish nets are also being used to wear underneath jeans and dresses to give an elegant ‘90s vibe. Finally, denim skirts and mini skirts have been all over stores recently because of its chic look. Trends come and go, some come back into style and others don’t, just remember to be yourself and have confidence.
