The gorgeous lights, the aesthetically pleasant decor, and the good Asian food, is what describes Morimoto Asia restaurant. Here you will also find awesome service, with cool waiters and waitresses, and fast refills. The theme of the restaurant is dark elegance, centered mostly on glass fixtures. It is quite classy, but you can find people that go with fancy clothes and others wearing regular garb. When you are inside the restaurant you can feel just how fancy and expensive this place is; but, the servers make you feel at home. Morimoto Asia is an located at Disney Springs (1600 East Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830).
Each meal has a beautiful presentation and an amazing taste. Some of the meals that you can find are: chicken, edamame, pork dumplings, soups, sushi, salads, lobster, beef, and many other types of food. Some plates are big, others come regular sized. The menu of the restaurant includes: “Angry Lobster Chow Fun” which has a whole lobster wok fry, sautéed flat rice noodles, chinese vegetables; the “Beef Lo Mein Noodles” that has stir-fried noodles, napa cabbage, carrot, bean sprout, mushroom, scallion; and the “L.A. BBQ Kalbi” which is made of marinated and grilled boneless short ribs, house kimchi, gochujang sauce.
The desserts consist of cakes, ice creams, and churros. In the desserts menu you can find the “Chocolate Cream & Crunch”, “Churro Fondue”, and the “Cream Caramel.” All the desserts have an amazing presentation and the flavor is delicious.
For me the “Shrimp Tempura” is the best meal at the restaurant. It contains asparagus and spicy mayo, and is served with white or brown rice. The taste is just like the original Japanese food. However, the “Shrimp Tempura” only has 6 pieces of sushi, but it is still delicious.
The restaurant is beautiful, the service is great and the meals and desserts are wonderful. I give the restaurant a 9 out of 10.
