The November calendar originally stated that there would be a “spirit week” this week leading up to the Koala Krawl/Fall Festival. Since we just did a spirit week a couple weeks ago for Red Ribbon Week, the PTA decided to wait until the Walk-a-thon in February to do another one.
The holidays are quickly approaching and books make a wonderful present! Winter break is also a great time to squeeze in some extra reading. There are no Challenging Spelling Words this week. Practice adding -s and -es endings to any base word for an extra challenge! Remember, you add -es if the base word ends in ch, sh, x, s, or z.
