What a fun week- I Love a Book Day, working on iPads with our 5th Grade Buddies and STEM Lab! That’s in addition to all of our regular learning adventures! I hope your child came home from school extra excited this week.
Teach-In 2013 is quickly approaching on Wednesday, November 20th. This event is a great opportunity for students to see how many of the skills they are learning in school transfer to the “real world.” We would love to have as many parents as possible come in to share their interesting skills, jobs, talents, interests and hobbies. If you are interested, please let me know and I will send home a registration form. So far, we only have one parent registered to come in and we would love to have more. I promise we won’t bite! Thank you!
This week I will introduce another one of the 7 Habits of Happy Kids: Habit #3: Put first things first! This habit will come in extra handy during those times when your child wants to put off homework or a project. 😉
Our “Juicy Word of the Week” will be gather. Don’t forget about the tracking sheet in the “Homework” section of the KOALA Book. Let’s make these juicy words part of our everyday vocabularies!
