Place Value Games

Today in class we played a fun place value game that the kids couldn’t get enough of: Trash Can Place Value! I told them that I would post it here on the blog in case you wanted to print it out and play at home. In class, we used special place value dice that are numbered 0-9. Since you probably don’t have those fancy dice sitting around your house, I’m attaching a spinner that you can use instead. I showed the kids how to put a pencil through a paper clip to spin for a number (see example picture below).  Happy playing!
