Your child is bringing home directions for a snowman book report titled, “It’s Snow Secret, Reading is Cool!” It is important that your child picks a fiction book to read that is on his/her reading level. Book reports provide an opportunity for students to practice applying the reading strategies and skills that we’ve been learning in class. It is important for students to practice these skills with a “just right” book that will challenge their reading.
