Timber Creek’s Drama Club is putting on a play

Wouldn’t you want to come watch one of the best stories ever written? Timber Creek High School’s drama department is putting on a production of “The Burial at Thebes.”  This story is about two sisters who try to honor their brother against their uncle’s wishes and end up paying the price.  This story is very well written and has an excellent lesson behind it. The cast and the technical team is a group of amazing students so this play will be an amazing production. The play’s opening night is November 8, 2018. The play starts at 7:00pm and goes until 9pm.  The closing night is November 10th. The play is going to be performed at the PAC here at Timber Creek High School.

It’s always exciting to bring a classic play to a modern audience. This play will be fun to do because there is stage combat, multimedia design, and student designed sound,”  said Mr. Horn. Mr. Horn is the Drama Director at our school and he seems very excited for this production.  This piece, like he said, is going to be fun because it has fight scenes and it’s just exciting to do a production like that.
