It iss the event that every car enthusiast dreams of: Simply Clean. Simply Clean is like the Comic-Con of cars. Thousands of vehicles, followed by thousands of people gather once a year to showcase and gander at the wide range of high quality cars. It’s the fourth year for Simply Clean, and the outcome was overwhelming. The roads to Daytona were packed with souped up cars from all over, and this year’s venue (Destination Daytona) was incapable of holding the vast amount of cars. Although there was a lack of organization, it was compensated by the excitement of the event.

Senior Edward Boone said “There was a lot of Honda Civics. Like, a lot, but the best thing was that there were just a lot of cars that were all unique.” Boone mentioned his favorite car was a Nissan 249 SX with a camouflage dial that “just looked cool.”

There were a variety of “clean” cars with big horsepower and flush stances.

“My favorite part of Simply Clean was the Civics, Hatches, and Vossen Cars,” said Junior Daniel Beltran. Vossen Wheels always brings forth a few cars to Simply Clean to not only showcase their high performance wheels and rims, but to also display elegance and innovation with modern day models.

Unfortunately, not everyone was pleased with the event. Senior Erica Sosa, who tagged along with her boyfriend, commented, “I didn’t like it at all. It was just food, music, and cars, and the food was too expensive. I would not go back.” For the most part, there have been solely positive reviews despite the chaos and massive amount of people. It just goes to show that Simply Clean is not for everyone.

Simply Clean has been a major event for the past four years. It is an event for “the best of the best”  that people cannot wait to attend.
