Growing up, many people many have had a school they dreamed about going to, whether it was introduced at your first college football game or even because your family was a legacy. Students at Timber Creek high always go above and beyond to do the best they can when it comes to accomplishing their goal. Many students have a dream outside of florida hoping to adventure out of Florida and experience life from a completely new different perspective. Others may want to stay close to but also wanting to understand the life of a college student.
Countless students at Timber Creek have their mind set on a university they imagine themselves studying at. Even if you discover you dream school as a freshman , sophomore , junior , or senior there will always be a school out there for you. Some students closer to home such as Senior Kaitlyn Shiman looks forward to attending her dream school at the University of Central Florida, “I am excited to be a Knight , it’s something I’ve always wanted to accomplish” said Shiman. Staying closer to home makes is more convenient for some students whether that means home cooked meals , free laundry and the comfort of family.
Wanting to branch out away from their comfort zone and move to places like California , New York and Alabama, junior Kelley McCarthy dreams of attending the University of Vermont. “I would want to go to the The University of Vermont because I’m familiar with the campus and I love the surrounding environment,” says McCarthy. Leaving a comfort zone may be hard for some but experiencing new things can also be an adventurous and exciting for most students. In conclusion, if you decided to stay close to home or branch of into a new one accomplishment a goal is one amazing thing to do. No matter how far you are from family , home is where the heart is.
