Admission

Students must meet the following requirements to be admitted to Dual Enrollment (DE):

 Have at least a 3.0 unweighted cumulative high school GPA;

 Be a rising high school junior or senior;

 Demonstrate college readiness in Reading Writing, and Math. Be a resident of and enrolled in a high school (or home education program) in Orange or Osceola County;

 Must maintain the minimum high school GPA, as well as adhere to Valencia’s academic standards (maintain at least a 2.0 GPA). If a students falls below the requirements, they are no longer eligible for further program participation.

 From the DE Office, located on the West Campus (Student Services Building/SSB, Suite 146).

Application deadline:

See application and assessment score deadlines below. Everything must be received in the DE Office by the specified deadlines (no exceptions):

Fall Term Admission -Application due by April 1st

-Assessment Scores due no later than May 15th

Spring Term Admission -Application due by October 1st

-Assessment Scores due no later than November 15th
