On Friday, October 20th, the Timber Creek wolves took on the Colonial Grenadiers for the homecoming game. This game was filled with so much school spirit and fun activities. This was the last regular home game for the wolves and they planned on going out with a bang. Throughout the game the cheerleaders were It seemed as if it flew by and by the end of the fourth quarter the wolves had brought home a win for our homecoming game. The final score of the game was 19-35 in the favor of Timber Creek.
Just like in the past years, this game was when we announced the homecoming King and Queen. This years senior court consisted of, Jazzy Bonny, Sammy Hill, Marianne Ostos, Victoria Berrios, Laith Myher, Nick Ruhl, Zachary Blanchard, and Zack Denson. During half time the court for all grades were announced and walked down the field escorted by someone of their choice. After everyone was announced the, The homecoming King was revealed followed by the Queen. The King for the class of 2018 was Nick Ruhl and the Queen was Jazzy Bonny. The previous Queen Carli Mauer was present to crown the King and Queen of this year alongside the principle, Dr. Paduano.
This year’s homecoming game also happened to fall on our pink out game in the support of breast cancer awareness month. The student section was alive and vibrant and resembled a sea of pink. Throughout the entire game they did an exceptional job of showing support and spreading enthusiasm. The students chanted along with the cheerleaders and gave the boys on the team that spark to overpower the Grenadiers and take home a win with a 16 point lead.
