The boys varsity lacrosse team had senior night on March 31, 2017. The boys have been working so hard all season and have improved not only themselves but as a team as a whole.

Before games the boys play music in the locker room and try to focus and get hyped for the game. They warm up by  running around the goal in two lines.

The team captains are Andrew Pineda, Brayden Cassata, Ethan Wheeler, and Preston Hopkins.

 

 

 

Pineda has been playing lacrosse for 6 years, he has been playing for timbercreek for 4 years, and has been on varsity for 3 years. He will be attending Florida Southern for lacrosse. He says that he believes the biggest accomplishment of the team so far would have been winning there first academy game, he believes it brought the team closer together.

 

Cassata has been playing lacrosse for 6 years, he has been playing for Timber Creek for 4 years, and has been on varsity for 3 years. He will be attending the University of Central Florida. His favorite memory from lacrosse was winning districts last year. His words of wisdom are to “try hard and be a good teammate”.

 

Wheeler has been playing lacrosse for 10 years, he has been playing for Timber Creek for 4 years, and has been on varsity for 3 years. He will be attending the University of North Florida. He believes the team’s biggest win comeback was when they beat TFA 11-7. TFA was in the lead 6-0 until the start of the 4th quarter when they made their comeback.

 

Hopkins has been playing lacrosse for 6 years, he has been playing for Timber Creek for 4 years, and has been on varsity for 3 years. He will be attending Florida Southern to play lacrosse and pursue his academic career. His favorite memory from lacrosse was winning against Boone last year in districts 13-4. His words of wisdom are, “Don’t be a captain. Laundry is no fun.”
