On Tuesday, Feb.25, 2014 the Timber Creek HS and Avalon MS Band Programs will present their annual Guest Conductor’s Concert featuring Mr. Ron Ellis, Director of Bands at the University of Texas at San Antonio. This concert serves as the “test run” of the repertoire they will perform at the District Music Performance Assessment at Olympia HS later next week. The students have been working very hard to represent Timber Creek at the highest levels possible.
Performance times are:
- 5:30 p.m. – Avalon MS Symphonic Band
- 6:15 p.m. – Avalon MS Wind Ensemble
- 7:00 p.m. – Timber Creek Concert Band
- 7:30 p.m. – Timber Creek Symphonic Band
- 8:00 p.m. – Timber Creek Wind Ensemble
Additionally, a Silent Auction will be held during tonight’s concert with proceeds benefitting the Timber Creek World Winter Guard! Start time should be at around 5:00 p.m.
