I had always heard good things about the restaurant Cheddar’s, and recently I went myself to see if it lives up to the hype, and I can confirm that it definitely does. I would rate Cheddar’s 4/5 overall. I had a great time during my visit (and so did my stomach).
For my meal I had the Maple Bacon Chicken Sandwich. It has grilled chicken, topped with three slices of maple bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and honey mustard. The honey mustard had to be housemade because I had never tasted anything like it before. After my first bite I fell in love with this sandwich. My mom even had to tell me to stop licking my fingers because it was so good. To go with it I had corn and raspberry lemonade. The lemonade was sweet and refreshing.
My mom had the Grilled tilapia with mango salsa, she let me try a bite and I was pleasantly pleased. The mango salsa ties wonderfully with the tilapia and I am considering having that the next time I go. My sister enjoyed the chicken fingers from the kids menu and the fries she had (which I helped her with) were wonderfully salty and flavorful. I would make sure to get those as a side when you go.
However, they do have one flaw. When I talked to fellow student Jordyn Torre she brought it to my attention that “they tried to be considerate of vegetarians but the only vegetarian option was a bunch of sides”. However, the Junior agreed that the lemonade was very good though.
Overall the customer service was wonderful. Everyone was easily willing to help us with anything we needed during our visit. I left with a smile, Cheddar’s is a wonderful restaurant that I can’t wait to go to again.
