The TCHS Speech and Debate Team competed in the second NFCFL tournament at Oveido High School on Oct. 11. A group of twelve students competed in the event. Sophomore Isabella Ruiz took the place of Champion in the Declamation category. Freshman Amanda Law won Best Novice in the Dramatic Interpretation category. Sophomore Sydney Stamford won third place in Oral Interpretation of Literature. For the Novice Forum Debate, freshmen Gabi Estrada and Faith Kirwan scored fourth place.
