Student body president candidate, Carly Billman is nervous about running, she plans to use her experience from other elections to do better in this race. "I'm nervous about running but I've wanted to run for student body president since I was a freshman" Billman says.

Student body elections are right around the corner as the 2017-18 school year ends. Juniors headed into their senior year undergo the stress of campaigning with getting signature and making signs. Juniors aren’t the only students starting this campaigning process, though. Freshmen and sophomores are also starting the election process to be class officers.

Results of this school election will proceed to the following school year of 2018-19. The results of the election can be rewarding, even if someone loses their election they still learn from the experience and can use what they learned for future elections.

Rules and restrictions are present with these elections. The signs each candidate uses must be approved and you can only have so many. All candidates also need signatures from people in their class to be eligible and student body candidates are required to be enrolled for Student Government the following year.

By the end of the school year the population of Timber creek should know their new class officers. Good luck to all candidates!
