Timber Creek Students Dual Enroll

It is no secret that students returned to school and their school routines not too long ago.  They are now subject to what feels like endless assignments, perhaps juggling schoolwork and a job, and maintaining their extracurricular activities. Can you imagine doing all of those things, but double the regular amount? Students who not only take high school classes, but also college classes, can definitely relate.

Throughout high school, there are a number of classes at a variety of different levels offered by Timber Creek. One of these options include actual college classes at a number of universities or community colleges. Many students take advantage of this opportunity to obtain college credit and high school credit at the same time. Even though it might be difficult to balance everything, TC students can handle anything!

As stated earlier, many students participate in this dual enrollment program, but how was their experience? Junior, Ciera Williams, explained that “she has been really enjoying the program” because it is a refreshing change from the high school atmosphere. She also feels that the teachers/professors are pretty laid back. Also junior, Isaac Heyliger, “really enjoys the fact that you don’t have to go to each class every day.”  A pretty big difference from high school!

Even though the school year has only just started, the Timber Creek wolves are doing big things and making lots of progress already! Students are doing great jobs with maintain their academic careers, whether it be on the TC campus or the Valencia campus. They are paving the way for their future, gaining more knowledge, and leaving their mark no matter where they go.
