As the schools very own Timber Creek AFJROTC Drill Team prepares for the upcoming competition. We get a sneak peek on the success that all three teams are making and what our commanders think need to happen before comp. As the three teams continue to practice and perfect their routines.

As we get an insider on the success that JV commander Madison Rios is making with her team, while Madison does tell that the team is ready for competition, she also tells that their are some things we need to perfect individually. As we continue to talk to Madison that while she does believe we are ready for competition there are always things to fix, Madison tells that they are having trouble with Column Rights, Cadence and keeping alignment, as Madi continues to work on that with her team, she has decided that she needs to address something to the team for certain members, we continue to ask Madi about this and Madi tells that there has been an attendance issue, “People aren’t taking this seriously, we are apart of a team and by them skipping practice, it is hurting the team, and to the people who really want this win under their belt, they’re hurting that chance by not showing up to practice.” As Madi continues to say “If you don’t want to be on the team, than quite. Don’t waste our time.” As  Commander Madi continues to work with the attendance that she has a practice, she tells “Once everyone starts taking this seriously, we will excel as a team and a flight.”

As we continue to talk to the rest of the commanders on Drill Team we next talk to our Exhibition Commander Gabriella Suarez. Gabby Suarez is in her Junior year at TC and has been commanding all three years. As we ask Gabby questions about her team, as she responds you can tell that she is very proud of her team. We asked Gabby what her goals are before she graduates and for this season, she responded with “I want this to be a fun year but I want to win.” Can and will they do it?
