Soccer is a strategic sport, it is a lot more than just getting the ball to the other side. A lot can happen while doing that, previous Timber Creek’s soccer games, two girls had a concussion on JV.
Even though the game met a terrible accident, Timber Creek won the game by 4-0. The girls who played were Grace Dutcher as keeper, center defenders as Lily Moore and Jillian Addy and right and left outside defenders as Sam Foster and Ximena Baute, center midfield as Ayda Varela & Lindsay Evans, outside midfielders as Madison Wise and Alessia Acosta, forwards as Lisa Kokemueller & Anaely Diaz with subs Cheyenne Chapman, Emily Brush and Veronica Kavanaght.
The First goal was scored by outside midfielder Madison Wise in the 8th minute, as Madison said the goal was a “Gift from God.” The followed by another goal by Grace Dutcher who plays forward. In the very last few minutes Veronica Kavanaght who plays forward,had a breakaway and was heading straight for the goal. She shot it, and had a powerful start but not enough to make it go in. The final goal of the night was scored by midfielder Alessia Acosta assited with Lindsey Evans.
