What is Agriscience and FFA all about

Agriscience is a good class to join especially if you want to go in a field of Agriculture. This class not only teaches agriculture but also many other things that include flowers, animals, and how they affect our environment. Agriscience is a way to expand your branch of career paths and make amazing new friends. This class is a lot of biology but is also more physical with animals. This class teaches us how important it really is to know modern technologies of this sort because it is how our population lives today.
If you are to take agriscience as a class you are immediately signed up for a club called FFA which stands for the Future Farmers of America. They are an amazing organization that can help bring people together and have formed an amazing community. The agriscience teacher, Ms. Hamoui, was also in FFA when she was in high school. She expresses, “FFA was the best part of high school for me. I had just moved to Florida from Indiana and had virtually no friends. I did not choose to be a part of FFA, I was put into Ms. Hubble’s class my freshman year. I decided to join the officer team to do something different and be a part of something, and I ended up falling in love with it.” Even when it’s something new that she did to just make new friends and expand her interests she ended up loving doing what this club offered.
Learning about something from someone that actually knows about the subject is amazing and the teacher here puts in a lot of effort to make sure we are learning but also having fun at the same time. Being in the class has taught me many new things that I never thought I would know, and are very helpful to the world around us. “My favorite part about agriscience is learning something new everyday. We learn about plants. Animals, how and what they do, and how we should take care of them,” said Lilli Winters.
In Agriscience there is a CTE at the end of the course so it is indeed a good class to take. If you want to learn in a fun way how the world we know today is fed, clothed, and how there is a roof over your head then this is the class to take. It really goes in depth with how you can make this a job of your own one day. This isn’t a completely easy class but if you listen and are interested in the topic then it is an easy A and a very fun class to think about your future in.
