For students that could not attend Homecoming, or just need a “Homecoming fix”, the Asian Student Association (ASA) is holding their annual Winter Ball. The dance will be at the UCF Student Union in the Key West Ballroom, from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31.

Students who are not members of ASA can attend as long as they purchase a ticket.Tickets currently available for $20, and can be purchased from any of the ASA members., or the Timber Creek ASA Sponsor Catherine Melton whose classroom is in room 603.However , tickets will also be available at the event door for $25with admission including free food.

This years Winter Ball follows a masquerade theme where a mask-making contest will allow attendees to possibly win gift cards.

The ASA has been working on this event since the beginning of the school year . Sophomore and ASA Secretary Julisa Vazansky claimed that this is also a major event for Asian Student Association’s in other Orange County high schools.In regards to the purpose of having such an elaborate outing , Vazansky said,”[It is] to have all the clubs get to know each other , and get connected”.

Also, besides the mask-making contest, Vazansky also mentioned the menu for the night.”There is going to be a lot of yummy food. I didn’t go last year but I heard there was a sushi bar.”
