On Monday’s game, the lady wolves had a hectic game against Father Lopez. The lady wolves’ were having in trouble the first quarter, they were losing but that didn’t stop them from going all the way. When the second quarter game the ladies were still neck and neck with the ladies from Lopez. Going back and forth with who was leading.
In the past, this was a team that defeated the wolves a lot and especially beat by 2 or 3 points. There was 2 minutes left in the second quarter and lady wolves had a switch turned on and began to accumulate points by the second and ended the first half with a 7 point lead.
The ladies returned from half ready to defeat the ladies from Lopez. They gave it all they had and by the end of the third quarter, they ended up with a 3 point lead. Then the most intense quarter started, the Fourth quarter. Now in this quarter was the most frustrating game. The referees were making bad calls, there were so many foul, and on top of that Father Lopez became more aggressive. “The 4th quarter got really intense nut no matter what we pushed through it and work as a team and finished the game.” Said Jasmine Smith
There was 30 seconds on the clock and the coach called his final timeout, the game was tied, Father Lopez had the ball and everyone was stressing out. Then Jasmine comes with a steal and hits the lay-up but Father Lopez get the ball and make the point making it tied again. Then Taylor Sulpizii ( 11th) gets foul and makes both shots in ending the game at 49- 47
