Timber Creek went up against Oak Ridge High School on April 6th, 2017. They ended with a 3-0 win, setting their record to 15-5. Junior Jordan McNamara and sophomore George Miller led the game with 13 kills each. Sophomore Ethan Morales had 44 assists. Timber Creek dominated in the first two sets, but the third set was a nail-biter with a final score of 26-28.
The boy’s volleyball team has a home non-conference match vs. Bishop Moore on Monday, April 10th at 7:30 pm. It will be a close game with Timber Creek ranked 20th in the state and Bishop Moore at 21st, only one spot behind. Junior Gabriel Pluguez, one of the captains of the team, says that he “hopes they will beat Bishop Moore because it has always been challenging in the past.”
