Timber Creek Senior Night and game vs. East River

Victory. The team celebrates their win in the Wolves Den after the game-winning spike was made. “I thought we started off slow in the first game but this is ok because we got back in the reigns and got it done,” Tran explained.

On October 3rd Timber Creek High School played against East River High School in the wolves den. Everyone in the stands were cheering and supporting the girls varsity volleyball team. Even the Junior Varsity team that played prior to the game stayed and supported the varsity team. Both teams played very well overall but the Girls Varsity Volleyball team beat East River with a score of 3-1.

The first set East River won by one point but as the game went on, the wolves took over the game and won the next three sets. Freshman volleyball player, Madison Tran, stated, “Overall, I thought the team did great, but anyone and everyone can improve and we will only go up from here.” Everyone had fun coming out to show support for our team. Working hard, Timber Creek Wolves managed to win the rest of the sets. 

Another great game in the Den occurred on October 9th where everyone cheered on the Lady Wolves as they played The Master’s Academy. Senior, Jackie Farris got recognized on Senior Night as the only senior as she played in her last season as a Lady Wolf. Everyone in the stands cheered as the Wolves beat The Master’s Academy. According to Timber Creek Athletics, “The team is 12-1 on the regular season and are still undefeated in district play with a record of 5-0.”

The girls varsity volleyball team worked hard against The Master’s Academy with a score of 3-0. In the first set the wolves came on strong and beat the Eagles 25-6. The wolves proudly cheered on Farris and the Timber Creek Wolves as they won the first three sets. Even though the season will end soon, the Lady Wolves are still trying their best to bring home victory.
