Women’s weightlifting had an outstanding season this 2016-2017 school year. Timber Creek took first place at regional, crowning them 2017 Regional Champions. When asked what senior Lauren Snyder would tell someone who plans to join this sport she said, “Always try your hardest at practice and don’t give up right away. Even if you can’t get it right then and there you have to keep trying. It’s just like anything else in life.” Snyder’s key to successful lifting is keeping a blank mind.” She doesn’t let anything get to her; she is focused on what she has to do to. “This sport has made me grow not only physically stronger but mentally stronger you have to put your aspect, have to do this, you can do it.” Snyder loves her team and says that they all work well together. This new season has been different because there has been a lot of new people that come and gone on this team.  The girls have been working hard for FHSAA State Championship that is on February 4 at Kissimmee civic center. Make sure to come out and support our wolves.
