In your last interview, you said you were interested in Urban Planning. Are you still?
What about Urban Planning interests you?
Well I mean, I still find an interest in the general topic and its issues. So I still think it’s very interesting and would want it to be an aspect of my future and my career.
If you had to describe yourself, how would you do so?
I think I’d describe myself as a person who thinks a lot about everything, and in some cases that’s good. Like when it comes to school it’s good to have a whole lot of thought and debate requires a lot of critical thought. But in some cases you know, it kind of becomes a limiting factor in social situations because I can’t not think about myself in a critical manner all the time.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what are three things you’d take with you?
Three things? Ok so I’m just going to eliminate things to get me off the island, so in that case I would probably bring one of those ten person tents and make a home out of it. I’d probably bring maybe the internet, because I am quite reliant on the internet, so like a little wifi thing along with a computer. So yeah, a tent, wifi, and a computer.
Do you have a plan for how you’d charge that computer or wifi?
You know what? I’m assuming prior to going on the desert island that this is a futuristic scenario and by then we’ll probably have like charging through the air, so it won’t even be a concern.
Do you have any unusual interests or hobbies?
I like looking at houses, and like architectural issues within cities. So yeah I think that’s one of the biggest things, I actively look through issues of policy in cities and architecture.
Do you have any pet peeves or things that irritate you?
When people have opinions and they’re so confident about their opinions that they feel the need to share them with everybody, even though there’s no basis or evidence and don’t know anything about the topic that they have actively formed this strong opinion on. Also people who can’t take criticism, and when people don’t clean up, like behind themselves. I’m a generally clean person so seeing things that aren’t clean irritate me, especially when I know somebody actively is going about their life not thinking about it.
What is an unpopular opinion you have?
It depends on how you define unpopular, because different things are popular to different people. But pineapple on pizza isn’t terrible. Getting it cooked on pizza isn’t a good idea, but having the pineapple like on the side, sometimes my parents will do that with a can of pineapple, and it’s not terrible.
What would you say your biggest accomplishment is?
I don’t know, I feel like most of my accomplishments aren’t a big deal. I mean I do well in school, but I’ve always done well in school. So yeah, I feel like none of my accomplishments so far really matter.
