Athleticism Runs In Her Blood

Athleticism Runs In Her Blood

Shernika is a nice, respectful person who puts a lot of time and dedication into sports and other clubs involved in school. Sports, being one of her more favored subjects, comforts her by making it a fun way to meet new people, ideas and just keep her busy in general.

Being so passionate about sports, Shernika says, “I did track, volleyball, and next school year I plan on doing weightlifting and cross country.”. She’s not only passionate about these things but she’s also driven to continue the sports. Her love for activities is less than intentional, it’s more than a choice to pick up sports. Her brother, sisters and dad played sports in high school, so it only made sense that she does as well. They did weightlifting, volleyball, football and they played soccer for a very long time. Athleticism pretty much “runs in her blood”.

Her enthusiasm for sports is beyond just being involved. She’s enthusiastic about sports in particular, seeing how she was in multiple groups. “I was in 3 different sports activities, track for 2 years, volleyball for a year and running club for another year” says Shernika. She has further ambitions in her athletic and athletic careers, seeing how she plans on “winning more medals in the future”.

She would love to be known for her hard work and how much she pushed herself to be successful in each and every one of them. She states “I really want to be blinged out for graduation with medals and ribbons that represent everything I did in high school.” She’s looking forward to the day when she stands for graduation, with medals and ribbons galore to say “Here’s to 2021!”
