Freshman with no passion

Without proper motivation and passion, how do you move forward? What do you do when you have no passion? Freshman, Fabrizio, has no passion to be motivated by. His motivation is basically nonexistent, leading him to not be able to complete things at his full potential. It has lead him to have a blank blank bleak outlook on life and not caring much about the feelings of those around him. His full potential hasn’t been tapped into and is waiting calmly to be let out.

After asking him if he was motivated to do anything he answered with, “no, not really.” Usually if you are not motivated to do something, you won’t really complete things well and won’t want to do a lot of things. He has mentioned that he really doesn’t like doing anything, like doing school work or taking care of his brother. Although he isn’t motivated to do a lot of things, he blames it on the fact that he doesn’t have a passion. When I asked him why he isn’t motivated to do stuff he said that he isn’t because he doesn’t have a passion. Not having a passion is a big factor in determining if someone actually is motivated to do things.

Not having motivation/passion has lead him to have struggles. When I asked him what he struggles with he said, “everything.” Although that might’ve been an exaggeration, that may be how he feels about not having a motivation/passion. Without the motivation to do anything, doing small things like completing an assignment or taking care of his own brother.

His personality consists of bland expressions and emotions. He doesn’t really exhibit very much compassion and is very blunt about whatever he talks about. He really isn’t afraid to speak his mind and will/might say  whatever comes to mind. He doesn’t like the daily normalities of life and justs wants become spiderman, even as unrealistic as it sounds. Despite the fact that he wants to become/looks up to spiderman, he knows that becoming him won’t be able to happen due to reality. Reality is what’s stopping him from actually becoming the best person he can be.
