The Art with Heart Club is a community service club at Dr. Phillips High School founded by student, Jaden Asuncion, an 11th grader in the Visual Arts Magnet. The club’s members are primarily Visual Arts Magnet students in grades 9-12. The goal of the club is to create art to brighten up the environment of individuals and communities. The club’s 2017-2018 projects include producing original greeting cards for the sick and elderly in Nursing Homes and Veteran’s Hospitals, as well as creating the Windermere Christmas Mural. The mural project is annually sponsored by the local Vintage Realty business in the heart of Main Street.
