COMMUNITY SERVICE

Visual Arts students in grades 9-12 and students in out Visual Arts Magnet program complete community service in several community sponsored events as part of the requirements for membership in three clubs and one student organization: The Student Visual Arts Advisory Board, the Art with Heart Club, the National Art Honor Society (NAHS), and the Studio Art Club. The Art with Heart club created a Christmas mural for the town of Windermere, Florida; Art students in grades 9-12 and the Student Visual Arts Advisory Board members volunteer to assist artists at the Windermere Arts Affair, while participating in a juried exhibit as professional artists; the National Art Honor society members and the Studio Art Club volunteer in the annual Dr. Phillips Relay for life to raise funds to help fight Cancer.
