Lockheed Martin E-week competition prep

On February 23, Lockheed Martin is hosting their annual engineers week competition. High school robotics engineering classes in Orange County have been invited to attend and participate in the competition.

In the coming month, students will be conceptualizing, designing and prototyping their robot. The ultimate goal for the robots is to collect a small yellow ball call a pac-dot, the ball name comes form the theme of this year’s competition is Pac-Man the classic 1980’s arcade game.

It appears that the students are enjoying working on their robots for the competition, Andrea Fernandez said “I like it, I am able to collaborate with others, share similar ideas in this competition.”

In short this is a fantastic opportunity for students who are interested in a career in robotic engineering to gain in the field experience.
