On Jan.12, the Drama Class held an event where students dressed as rock stars and lip-synched their choice song chosen from the artist.

Ciara Fernandez performed as Celia Cruz. Fernandez chose Celia Cruz because “She’s lit and fought her way up to the top.”

She also said her family introduced her to Celia Cruz’s music and she just continued to listen to her.

Jarian Truss performed as John Legend, singing “All of Me.”

Truss said he chose to be John Legend because of how similar they looked.

He got into John Legend when he was a kid.

Skylar Colvin dressed and performed as Cher. Colvin said, “I chose to be Cher because I listened to her music when I was young.”

A family friend introduced her to Cher’s music when she was a kid.
