Odd Jobs of Kayla Suter

Your first job is a big milestone; it’s right up there with getting your license and turning 18. It’s a huge responsibility but can end up being an experience you will never forget.

Senior Kayla Suter set out to land a job in order to keep busy during the summer.

“I hate just sitting around all the time. I need to be active,” said Suter.

Suter ended up with two jobs, working at Aeropostale in the Altamonte mall and Anthony’s Pizza, keeping her more than occupied. It’s hectic enough having to balance out two jobs without the added stress of customers. Suter shared “We get a lot of different customers. One time there was this drunk guy on a motorcycle in the parking lot. He was being difficult.”

Despite the difficulties with customers Suter enjoys earning extra cash and being productive and encourages everyone to go out and get a job if only for the crazy stories you’ll be able to tell.

“All of my stories now start with ‘this one time at work’. It’s literally where I make all my memories now.”
