Timber Creek High School College Week
The week of October 3rd was college week here at TC. Everyday was a different event at lunches.
Monday consisted of Name that Fight Song, during both lunches, students were played a list of fight songs and were asked to guess which college fight song it was. Tuesday was Name that Mascot, students were presented pictures of mascots from various colleges and the student who guessed the most correct won a prize. Wednesday was College Fair, On October 5, 2016 Timber Creek had a college fair open to all students but mainly for Juniors and Seniors. The fair included multiple types of colleges from military to technical to even cosmetic colleges. There was a total of 50 college representatives present today and every student got an opportunity to see where they would like to go/ consider going to in the future. Thursday- N/A (School cancelled due to weather). Friday- Popsicle Friday (School cancelled due to weather). There was also a college door decorating contest for teachers and librarian, Ms.Franklin, took first place as the winner.
