Welcome to snow! This December our welcome sign got covered in snow do to a cold front in Georgia.

Most Floridians have never seen actual snow, but this year might be different. Weather reports have shown a slight snowfall in the upper region of Florida. Do to the cold front in Georgia, our “Welcome to Florida” sign was covered in snow. This Christmas might be the first time many people have seen snow.

This winter has been so cold that many people have been wearing two or three jackets.Some people even decided to not come to school because it was to cold. Although this cold doesn’t compare to the cold of snow it did come pretty close for us to live in Florida. Santiago Charry (Freshman) says, “I have never seen snow, but if I had I would die because it would be too cold.”

The weather forecasts say that this Christmas might be a high of 77 degrees and a low of 55 degrees fahrenheit. Although that might change because lately the weather has been gradually getting warmer over the past few days. During the day it’s usually a high of 70-75 degrees fahrenheit and at night it is usually in the low 60’s.

Although most students hate the cold there are some who love it. Bianca Velasco(Freshman) says, “Although I have never seen snow, if I had I would love it,but I would be cold. And I would like to share the experience with my friends in Florida.”
