These students placed 3rd in the State FFA Floriculture competition on Saturday. The students had to learn 100 plant specimen, 65 tools, 55 insects and diseases. Take a test on handling hazardous materials, and customer service, as well as make a florist bud vase. This is the first time we competed in this competition since I started teaching at Timber Creek. Julia Holt also placed 2nd high individual in the state against 76 other contestants.
