Let me just start by saying that Adolf Hitler, German politician and leader of the Nazi party, was indeed an evil person, and I do not condone the monstrous things that he did. However, like many villains throughout history, Hitler had a thirst for power. For the most part, it was a thirst that he managed to quench.

To have alpha-like qualities is very vital to achieving goals and fulfilling what one would want in life. I believe Hitler possessed the traits of a true leader, which are traits that students seem to overlook. And from this, I have learned a few things that are actually helpful:

1) Physical presentation is everything, even if all you have are a few pictures plastered on cardboard. The most common trait amongst every powerful leader in history: the ability to speak, and with a conviction. Hitler, being an authority figure, could walk into a room and everyone would be silent; they knew he had something to say. He sure did, speaking with eloquence in his words and affirming tones (almost yelling most times).  It did not take long for him to get his point across.

2) Take initiative and don’t rely on your friends to do your homework .Being able to get rid of obstacles independently, instead of waiting on obstacles to eliminate themselves, was one of the main ways Hitler progressed so much in his acts of evil. Overall, taking things on independently

3) If you want to achieve your goals, you have to stay committed… like really committed. Hitler was his own man. Never the “woman chasing” type, neither did he abuse drugs, he truly had one thing on his mind- power.  There’s no time to fool around when there are so many opportunities out there.

Hitler once said “If you want to shine like the sun, you have to burn like it.” The second semester is also known as a time of desperation for students, with all the pressure of grades and exams coming in, we need all the determination we can get.
