Final Orchestra Concert

By Sheridan Monk-

On, Thursday, April 27th, 2017, the final WPHS orchestra concert for the 2016-2017 school year will take place in the auditorium located on the main campus. As usual, the concert is free and everyone is encouraged to attend. The Spring Concert starts at 7pm and can be expected to end around 9pm, conducted by Laurie Bitters and Sarah Klevorn.

What makes the Spring Concert special is that all seniors in each orchestra will come together for one last song together. This year, the special song is, Adieu?, a song that invokes many memories with its beautiful melody. Not a single dry eye will be found by the time the song concludes.

Also included in this Spring Concert is fun, upbeat music played by the orchestras. A little sneak peek includes themes from, “Alice in Wonderland,” to classical tastes like, “The Best of the Ballet,” and many more that will rouse the audience for this one of a kind concert.
