Kelly & Valeria’s duet
Boone Chorus students were very successful at District Solo & Ensemble MPAs held at Colonial High School last weekend. These students prepared and performed two art songs for a distinguished judge, who provided both comments and an official rating. Overall, Boone students received 19 superiors and 6 excellent ratings.
The following students received a SUPERIOR rating for their vocal solo entry:
- Adena Labovitz, Angelica Luff, Audrey Hunsicker, Chantelle Cade, Christian Drayton, Jaclyn Thomas, Kelly Griffin, Krista Peirce, Megan Thomas, Michael Medina, Owen Saggus, Sarah Mouradian, Skylin Whitmer, Taylor Wood, Valeria Bonilla, and Vivian Motta.
The following students earned an EXCELLENT rating for their vocal solo entry:
- Caroline Smith, Jessie Dreiling, Kerry Alce, Lauren Colson, Mallory Meuser, and Will Griffin.
Kelly Griffin and Valeria Bonilla also received a SUPERIOR rating for their duet, and Gabriella Beals received a SUPERIOR rating for both her vocal solo entry and her special category entry.
