Performance & Rehearsal Schedule: As a performance oriented class, students in any of the FHS Guitar Ensembles will have required performances as part of their overall grade playing solo and/or ensemble Guitar Music at the following events:
*Fall Performing Arts & Guitar Concerts: Freedom High School Performing Arts Center
Monday, October 2, 2023 – 7:00pm (Ponticello) Call time 6:00pm in the FHS Performing Arts Center.
Tuesday, October 24, 2023 – 7:00pm (Guitar Orchestra & Tasto w/ Bobby Koelble) Call time 5:30pm in the FHS Performing Arts Center.
*OCPS All-County Guitar Auditions:
Friday, October 6, 2023 – All-County Guitar Audition Material shared with students. Audition Materials will be announced to classes and posted on the All-County Guitar Page when it is available. Steve Luciano (Southeastern University) is this years HS Ensemble Clinician.
Wednesday, October 25 & Thursday, October 26, 2023 – Afterschool in the Guitar Room (434) to audio record their audition – (Any students interested in auditioning)
Accepted students will be notified by Thursday, November 2, 2023.

Saturday, December 9, 2023 – Call time 12:30pm in the Guitar Room. —- Three Full Performances!

*OCPS All-County Honor Guitar Festival: Edgewater HS Main Campus (Selected students)
Tuesday – January 30, 2024 – 6:00pm-8:30pm – Sectional
Thursday – February 1, 2024 – 6:00pm-8:30pm – Sectional
Friday – February 2, 2024 – 8:30am-3:30pm – Rehearsal and 6:00pm – Concert
