Lady Eagles vs Boone Braves in Soccer

 The Lady Eagles took on the Boone Braves in soccer at Boone High on Jan. 4. The varsity team took a bit to get rolling but ended up beating the Braves 6-2. 

The Eagles had a slow start on defense with the Braves scoring two goals right away. But they showed that they were unfazed as they made a comeback and won the game.

Plenty of help arose on offense from Kristen Scott scoring two goals in the win. There was also help from Sophie Conklin, Caroline Formella, Emily Fisher and Miesha Johnson with one goal each.

It may have seemed that they were getting shut down in the beginning but it looked as if they figured something out on offense and were able to dominate the Braves for the rest of the game.

They plan to repeat this performance in the next game against Dr. Philips at Dr. Phillips High on Jan. 6.
