NHS Induction

On January 17, our National Honor Society inducted 45 new members.

NHS is a club that is sponsored by Ms. Ivette Acevedo.

“The reason I joined was to help me gain access to leadership also it is very prestigious,” said junior Anish Das. “My plans for NHS are to have a good starting year as a junior and then achieve a representative position as a senior in NHS.”

Junior Joseph Mischuck was also inducted. “I expect to gain skills in leadership and in service,” he said. Mischucks goal for NHS is to help his community.

Senior Jacob Orlando is a returning member of NHS. “It’s been a privilege because selected students get in it,” he said. “I am hoping the new members will stay on top of things.”
