Today I am featuring the work of Rhyan Lugo, a Digital Media 2 student who is in 11th grade. Our last unit was on photo restoration. Students were asked to bring in old/damaged photographs that were in need of restoration. Students scanned the images and used Photoshop to restore the pictures. After correcting the major blemishes, Rhyan used a combination of adjustment layers to add contrast to the faded image. For the finishing touch, Rhyan tinted the photo by adding color and working with blending modes.
