Teacher Background
I am proud to be a Lake Nona Lion since we opened our doors in 2009! I am an instructor in the Digital Media Academy/Business Technology Department at Lake Nona High School. I teach Digital Design 1-3. I am also the webmaster for Lake Nona High School. I previously taught at Edgewater High School. I earned National Board Certification in 2006-2007 and renewed again in 2016. I attended the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. After working as an accountant early in my career, I decided to pursue a career in education. Having grown up in Orlando and educated in the Orange County Public School system, I am excited to be able to give back to my community.
My goal is to give my students the technical advantage over other students. Whether it’s creating a graphic, presentation, website,
t-shirt, brochure or video, my students will produce high quality work that puts the rest to shame.
