The theme this year was Art Meets Agriculture—specifically promoting sustainable farm to table practices, such as buying local, urban, community and backyard gardens, organic farming, beekeeping, and pasture-raised farm animals. Winning entries will be featured in the 2016 Arts Meets Agriculture Pollution Prevention Awareness calendar. Students receive a prize package including gift certificates to Wella Verde (sustainable products website), t-shirts and Sierra Club memberships. In addition, Lake Nona High School received a $200 gift card from Art Systems of Florida for the winning entries.

A reception was held November 20th at the Downtown Orlando Library showcasing the winning artwork. Winning artwork will be on display at the Orange County Government building on the corner of Rosalind and Jackson in downtown Orlando. All other entries will remain on display at the library.
